Old Fashioned Sour Cream Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 4 c flour rounded
• 2 tsp cream of tartar large
• 2 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp nutmeg
• 12 tsp salt
• 2 c sugar
• 1 c oleo
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp lemon extract
• 12 pt commerical sour cream

Directions

1. Sift dry ingredients set aside
2. Cream together sugar and shortening add eggs and lemon extract
3. Blend and add sour cream Combine this mixture with sifted dry ingredients
4. Mixture will be stiff
5. Refrigerate overnight
