Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 c butter
• 1 c vegetable oil
• 1 c granulated sugar
• 1 c confectioners sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp soda
• 4 c flour
• 1 tsp cream of tartar
• 1 tsp salt

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375
2. Thoroughly cream oil butter and both sugars
3. Add vanilla and eggs
4. Sift dry ingredients
5. Stir in and blend
6. Roll teaspoon of dough into a ball roll ball into granulated sugar
7. Press down on a lightly greased cookie sheet with a glass tumbler dipped in sugar
8. Bake about 12 minutes Makes 8 dozen cookies
