Old Fashioned Sweet Potato Pie

Ingredients

• 1 34 c mashed cooked sweet potatoes
• 3 eggs beaten
• 23 c sugar
• 13 c molasses
• 1 14 c milk
• 14 tsp cloves
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 unbaked pie shell

Directions

1. Mash potatoes to smooth paste
2. Add eggs and mix well
3. Add sugar molasses and milk
4. Mix thoroughly
5. Add cloves and vanilla blend well
6. Pour into unbaked pie shell
7. Bake in 400 oven for 15 minutes then reduce heat to 350 and bake for 35 to 40 minutes
8. Cool and serve
