Old Fashioned Tea Cakes
Ingredients
- 2 c sugar
- 12 c shortening
- 12 c oleo
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 12 c milk
- 23 tsp salt
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 4 c flour
Directions
- Cream sugar and shortening
- Add eggs vanilla and milk
- Mix salt baking powder and flour
- Add to mixture and roll 14-inch thick
- Cut with 2-inch round cookie cutter
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350
- These cookies will not be brown
- Remove from pan while hot
