OlgaS Pound Cake

Ingredients

• 2 c sugar
• 3 c cake flour
• 1 c shortening
• 1 tsp baking powder
• dash of salt
• 4 eggs
• 1 c milk
• 1 tsp vanilla or lemon rind

5. in eggs plus enough milk to make 1 cup In mixing bowl cream shortening with sugar
6. Beat eggs with milk slightly and add to shortening and sugar
7. Sift flour
8. and salt together
9. Add baking powder
10. Add to creamed mixture
11. and mix until all is well mixed at a low speed

16. lemon
17. rind or vanilla
18. Mix for 2 minutes at medium speed
19. Bake 1 hour at 350
