One Egg Cake

Ingredients

• 23 c sugar
• 14 c shortening
• 14 tsp salt
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 egg
• 1 12 c flour
• 2 tsp baking powder

Directions

1. Cream shortening and sugar
2. Add unbeaten egg and vanilla Beat well
3. Sift flour
4. Sift with baking powder and salt
5. Add alternately with milk to creamed shortening
