Onion Shortcake

Ingredients

• 2 large onions sliced
• 1 stick oleo
• 8 oz sour cream
• 2 c shredded Cheddar cheese
• 14 tsp dill weed
• 14 tsp salt
• 1 box Jiffy corn bread mix
• 1 egg
• a few drops of hot sauce
• 1 can cream-style corn 15 oz
• 13 c milk

Directions

1. Saute onions in oleo until tender
2. Add sour cream 12 cup of Cheddar cheese dill weed and salt
3. In a separate bowl mix corn bread mix milk egg corn and hot sauce
4. Spread in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan
5. Top with onion mixture
6. Top this with 1 12 cups Cheddar cheese
7. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes
8. Very good leftover
