Opera Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Pepperidge Farm stuffing
  • 1 can French green beans drained
  • 12 c slivered almonds
  • 1 chicken boned
  • 1 large can water chestnuts drained and sliced
  • 1 large can mushrooms drained
  • 2 c mushroom soup
  • 1 c milk
  • 14 c melted butter
  • 12 c hot water

Directions

  1. Sprinkle half of stuffing over bottom of 10 x 13-inch casserole
  2. Layer rest in order given
  3. Blend soup and milk pour over top
  4. Moisten remaining stuffing with melted butter and water put on top
  5. Bake at 400 for 40 minutes or until hot
