Orange Candy Cake

Ingredients

• 1 c butter
• 2 c sugar
• 4 eggs
• 12 tsp soda
• 2 12 c plain flour
• 1 lb dates cut into small pieces
• 12 c buttermilk
• 1 lb orange slices cut into small pieces
• 2 c pecans chopped
• 2 small cans coconut flaked

1. Use some extra flour to coat candy and nuts
