Orange Coconut Cake
Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 12 c sugar
- 2 14 c cake flour
- 1 c sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 13 c Wesson oil
- 1 c orange juice
Directions
- Separate eggs and beat the whites with 12 cup sugar
- Sift together the flour 1 cup sugar salt and baking powder
- Add the Wesson oil and 12 the orange juice to the flour mixture and beat well
- Add the egg yolks and the rest of the orange juice
- Fold in egg whites
- Add a little orange food coloring and coconut if desired
- Bake at 350 for 45 minutes
