Orange Nut Cake

Ingredients

• 2 sticks margarine
• 2 c sugar
• 4 eggs
• 12 c buttermilk
• 1 tsp soda
• 3 c flour
• 12 tsp salt
• peel of 2 oranges grated
• 1 c pecans
• 1 c dates
• 1 c flaked coconut

Directions

1. Cream together margarine and sugar beat in eggs
2. Dissolve soda in buttermilk and add alternately with flour and salt
3. Mix in orange peel nuts dates and coconut
4. Cook in a 300 oven until done
5. Bake in a ring pan
