Orange Pecan Pie
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 34 c dark corn syrup
- 2 oranges pureed 23 c
- 2 Tbsp butter or margarine melted
- 1 Tbsp vanilla
- 12 c sugar
- 18 tsp salt
- 12 tsp grated orange rind
- 1 c pecans
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
Directions
- Beat eggs in large bowl stir in remaining ingredients except pastry shell
- Pour into pastry shell
- Bake in 400 oven for 15 minutes reduce heat to 350 and continue to bake 35 to 45 minutes longer
- Filling will be moist in center
- Cool
