Orange Pound Cake

Ingredients

• 1 c shortening
• 2 c flour
• 5 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 23 c sugar
• 14 tsp salt
• 5 Tbsp orange juice

Directions

1. Combine shortening and sugar well add 1 egg at a time beating well after each egg
2. Sift flour and salt add alternately with the orange juice and flavoring
3. Bake in tube pan at 325 for 1 hour
