Orange Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 recipe sweet dough
  • 1 c sugar
  • 14 c grated orange rind
  • 12 c raisins
  • 14 c margarine melted

Directions

  1. Prepare dough
  2. When ready to shape combine sugar grated rind and raisins
  3. Divide dough in half
  4. Roll out each half to an 18 x 9-inch rectangle
  5. Brush with melted margarine
  6. Sprinkle with sugar mixture
  7. Roll up from long sides
  8. Cut into 1 12-inch slices and place in 2 greased 9-inch cake pans
  9. Cover and let rise in warm place free from draft until double in bulk about 1 hour
  10. Bake at 375 for about 20 to 25 minutes check time lightly brown
  11. Remove from pans and frost immediately with Orange Icing
