Orange Rolls
Ingredients
- 1 recipe sweet dough
- 1 c sugar
- 14 c grated orange rind
- 12 c raisins
- 14 c margarine melted
Directions
- Prepare dough
- When ready to shape combine sugar grated rind and raisins
- Divide dough in half
- Roll out each half to an 18 x 9-inch rectangle
- Brush with melted margarine
- Sprinkle with sugar mixture
- Roll up from long sides
- Cut into 1 12-inch slices and place in 2 greased 9-inch cake pans
- Cover and let rise in warm place free from draft until double in bulk about 1 hour
- Bake at 375 for about 20 to 25 minutes check time lightly brown
- Remove from pans and frost immediately with Orange Icing
