Orange Sangria

Ingredients
- 1 medium orange or lemon or lime
- 14 c sugar
- 2 c orange juice
- 1 45 qt bottle dry red wine
- 12 c Cointreau or Triple Sec
Directions
- Cut orange in half
- Slice one half
- With a vegetable peeler cut off the thin outer peel of the other half of the orange
- In a bowl using a wooden spoon mash peel into the sugar so sugar absorbs the oils then add remaining ingredients
- Cover and chill
- Remove peels after 15 minutes
- Serve over ice
- Makes 1 12 quarts
