Orange Slice Cake
Ingredients
- 1 c butter
- 2 c sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp soda
- 12 or 1 c fresh orange juice
- 1 can flaked coconut
- 1 or 2 c powdered sugar
- 12 c buttermilk
- 8 oz dates chopped
- 8 oz cherries chopped
- 1 lb orange slices chopped candy
- 2 c nuts chopped
- 3 12 c all-purpose flour
Directions
- Cream butter and 2 cups of sugar until smooth
- Add eggs one at a time
- Beat well after each addition
- Dissolve soda in buttermilk
- Add to creamed mixture
