Orange Slice Cake

Ingredients

• 1 c butter softened
• 4 eggs
• 2 c sugar
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 3 tbsp grated orange peel
• 1 8 oz pkg chopped dates
• 3 c plain flour
• 12 c buttermilk
• 2 c coconut
• 12 lb sliced orange candy
• 2 c chopped nuts

1. Mix all ingredients together Pour mixture into greased tube pan Bake on middle rack 2 hr at 250
