Oreo Ice Cream Dessert

Ingredients

• 24 Oreo cookies crushed
• 12 c margarine melted
• 12 gal vanilla ice cream softened
• 1 4 oz German chocolate bar
• 12 c margarine
• 23 c sugar
• 23 c evaporated milk 5 oz can
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 18 tsp salt
• 1 8 oz container large frozen whipped topping

Directions

1. Sprinkle crushed cookies onto bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan Pour 12 cup melted margarine over crumbs
2. Spread softened ice cream over crumbs and freeze
3. Combine remaining ingredients except frozen whipped topping boil for 4 minutes
4. Cool and pour over top of ice cream
5. Top with frozen whipped topping
6. Sprinkle with nuts if desired and freeze
7. Makes 10 to 12 servings
