Oriental Pork

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork cut in cubes
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 14 c cornstarch
  • 14 c flour
  • 1 14 c chicken broth
  • salad oil
  • 1 large green pepper cut up
  • 12 c chopped carrots
  • 2 Tbsp salad oil
  • 12 c sugar
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch

Directions

  1. Trim excess fat from pork
  2. Combine egg 14 cup cornstarch flour 14 cup chicken broth and 12 teaspoon salt salt optional Beat until smooth
  3. Pour salad oil 1-inch deep in electric skillet Heat to 375
  4. Dip pork in batter and fry 5 to 6 minutes or until golden
