Oriental Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 to 8 thick pork chops
  • pineapple rings save juice
  • fresh mushrooms
  • 13 c soy sauce
  • 14 c sugar
  • 2 12 Tbsp cornstarch

Directions

  1. Brown pork chops and place in baking pan one layer
  2. Place a pineapple ring on each with a mushroom cap in center
  3. In saucepan combine pineapple juice add water to make 2 12 cups soy sauce and sugar bring to a boil
  4. Stir in 12 cup of water in which the cornstarch has been dissolved
  5. Bring to a boil again Pour over chops
  6. Bake at 325 for 2 hours covered
