Oriental Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 c chopped celery
  • 1 c chopped onion
  • 4 oz can mushrooms
  • 8 oz can sliced water chestnuts
  • 8 oz can bamboo shoots drained
  • 13 c soy sauce
  • 1 c cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 2 c hot water
  • 34 c rice

Directions

  1. Brown beef celery and onions
  2. Drain off excess fat
  3. Mix in mushrooms water chestnuts bamboo shoots and soy sauce Dissolve bouillon cubes in hot water stir in mushroom soup
  4. Add to beef mixture
  5. Stir in rice
  6. Place in a 9 x 13-inch pan Bake uncovered for 1 hour at 350
  7. Serves 6 to 8
