Oven-Buttered Corn Chunks
Ingredients
- 13 c butter or margarine
- 2 14 c sifted flour
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 14 c milk
- 1 c cream-style corn
Directions
- Melt butter in a 9 x 13-inch pan
- Sift flour sugar baking powder and salt into a bowl
- Add milk and corn
- Stir until soft dough is formed
- Turn out on a well floured board or pastry cloth Knead about 15 times
- Roll out in a rectangle 12-inch thick
- Cut into 1-inch strips and then into 24 pieces
- Roll in the melted butter and arrange in the pan
- Bake at 450 for 20 to 30 minutes
