Oven-Fried Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 12 tsp Chicken Coating Mix
- 34 c all-purpose flour
- 14 c instant nonfat dry milk
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 12 tsp salt
- 23 c hot water
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 2 12 to 3 lb fryer chicken cut up
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425 F 220 C
- Combine all ingredients except chicken in a small bowl
- Blend well
- Dip chicken pieces in batter and place on a baking sheet
- Bake uncovered 40 to 50 minutes until golden brown and tender
- Or if desired dip chicken pieces in batter then fry in hot oil
