Oven Baked Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 2 12 to 3 lb frying chicken cut into serving pieces
- 1 stack Ritz crackers crushed fine
- 1 stick margarine
Directions
- Seasoning is not necessary as crumbs are tasty
- Remove skin from chicken parts rinse chicken and dry
- Melt margarine in large baking dish
- Dip chicken in margarine then in crushed cracker crumbs then back in margarine and back in crumbs again
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour depending on size of chicken
- Cover with foil for approximately the first 30 to 40 minutes
- Remove foil for final minutes of baking
- This will allow the crumb crust to brown lightly
