Oven Beef Stew

Ingredients

  • 2 lb beef stew without fat
  • 6 carrots cut in chunks
  • 12 c celery cut
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 12 to 34 c water
  • 2 Tbsp pearl tapioca
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 pkg onion soup mix
  • 12 c frozen peas
  • potatoes

Directions

  1. Combine all except potatoes and peas
  2. Bake covered tightly in a 325 oven for 2 12 to 3 hours
  3. Stir and add potatoes and peas
  4. Continue baking 1 12 hours or until potatoes are done
