Oven Chicken And Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 14 c margarine
  • 1 c rice
  • salt to taste
  • 1 fryer cut up
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 12 soup cans water

Directions

  1. Melt margarine in baking dish
  2. Cool slightly
  3. Pour rice uncooked over margarine
  4. Arrange salted pieces of chicken over rice
  5. Sprinkle with onion mix
  6. Combine mushroom soup with water pour over chicken
  7. Cover tightly
  8. Bake at 350
  9. for 1 hour and 30 minutes
  10. Uncover last 15 minutes so chicken can brown
