Oven Roasted Chicken In Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
- 4 whole chicken breasts split
- 1 c tomato puree
- 14 c ketchup
- 18 c lemon juice
- 12 tsp allspice or other spices
- dash of black pepper
Directions
- Place chicken in baking pan
- Combine all other ingredients and pour over chicken
- Bake uncovered at 400 for about 45 minutes or until chicken is brown
- Before serving garnish with lemon slices parsley or cooked green peas if desired
- Makes 4 to 6 servings
