Ingredients

  • 2 lb stew meat
  • 4 medium size potatoes cut in pieces
  • 4 to 5 carrots cut in slices
  • chopped onion optional
  • 1 can mixed vegetables
  • 14 head cabbage cut in shreds
  • 1 can tomato sauce

Directions

  1. Cut stew meat into small pieces
  2. Salt pepper and roll in flour
  3. Brown in skillet
  4. Put stew meat carrots tomato sauce and cabbage in a long pan or Dutch oven
  5. Cover and bake 2 to 3 hours or until tender-done at 300 to 350
