Oyster Soup
Ingredients
- 1 bunch green onions chopped
- 1 stick butter
- 12 c celery diced
- 3 toes garlic minced fine
- 2 bay leaves
- 12 tsp cayenne pepper
- 12 c parsley
- 1 qt oysters
- 1 12 qt milk
- 12 tsp thyme
Directions
- Melt butter in large pot and add green onions celery and garlic
- Cook until clear
- Add oysters and cook until ends curl about 10 minutes
- Add bay leaves thyme and parsley and stir Add milk cayenne pepper and if needed salt oysters may be salty
- Bring to a slow boil and turn off immediately
