Packable Picnic Cake

Ingredients

• 14 c butter
• 1 sq chocolate unsweetened
• 1 c sugar
• 1 12 c applesauce
• 2 c flour
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp cloves
• 2 tsp soda
• 14 tsp salt
• 12 c chopped nuts
• 12 c raisins

Directions

1. Melt together butter and chocolate
2. Cool
3. Add sugar and applesauce
4. Mix flour spices salt and soda together
5. Blend with applesauce mixture
6. Add nuts and raisins
7. Bake in 8-inch square greased and floured pan
8. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes Yield 16
