Papa Pound Cake

Ingredients

• 12 lb butter or margarine
• 12 c Crisco
• 3 c sugar
• 3 c flour
• 5 eggs
• 1 c sweet milk
• 1 tsp baking powder
• pinch of salt
• 5 Tbsp cocoa omit if desired

Directions

1. Sift flour baking powder cocoa and salt
2. Beat Crisco and sugar good
3. Add eggs one at a time and beat well
4. Add milk and dry ingredients alternately and beat well after each addition Add vanilla
5. Bake in tube cake pan at 325 for 1 or 1 12 hours
