Papaya Jam
Ingredients
- 3 c papaya chopped fine
- 2 c crushed pineapple in own juice
- 3 14 c sugar
- 1 box Sure-Jell light
Directions
- Measure fruit into 6 or 8-quart pot
- Measure sugar into separate bowl mix 14 cup of the sugar with 1 box of Sure-Jell Stir sugar with Sure-Jell into fruit
- Bring mixture to full rolling boil stirring constantly
- Quickly add remaining sugar to fruit
- Bring to full rolling boil
- Boil 1 minute stirring constantly
- Remove from heat
- Fill jars
- Quickly cover and seal
- Invert for 5 minutes
