Parmesan Vegetables

Ingredients

  • 4 c fresh broccoli
  • 4 c fresh cauliflower
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 14 c sugar
  • 13 c Parmesan cheese
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 12 tsp basil
  • 2 c mayonnaise
  • 1 lb bacon crumbled
  • 1 large head lettuce bite size pieces
  • 2 c seasoned croutons
  • 1 8 oz sliced water chestnuts

Directions

  1. In large bowl break broccoli and cauliflower into bite size pieces
  2. Combine with onion
  3. In small bowl combine sugar cheese salt basil and mayonnaise
  4. Mix well
  5. Toss vegetables and dressing
  6. Refrigerate overnight
  7. Just before serving add remaining ingredients
  8. Toss lightly
