Pastel Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 c shortening
• 12 c margarine
• 1 c sugar
• 2 pkg gelatin any flavor
• 4 eggs
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 5 c flour
• 2 tsp salt
• 2 tsp baking powder

Directions

1. Mix together the shortening margarine and sugar
2. Add gelatin eggs and vanilla
3. Blend in dry ingredients
4. Roll into small balls place on cookie sheet
5. Flatten with bottom of a glass that has been dipped in sugar
6. Make sure glass has a bottom design on it that goes on cookie when pressed
7. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes
