Pastry

Ingredients

• 1 c shortening
• 23 c boiling water
• 3 c flour
• 1 12 tsp salt
• 1 tsp baking powder

Directions

1. Pour boiling water over shortening
2. Stir well
3. Sift in dry ingredients and stir until nothing sticks to bowl
4. May be chilled in a large ball or divided into smaller ones
5. Wrap in foil before chilling
6. Keeps well in refrigerator
7. Roll to desired size for pie
