Ingredients
- 1 12 c all-purpose flour
- 14 tsp salt
- 3 Tbsp shortening cold
- 3 Tbsp unsalted butter cold
- 4 to 5 Tbsp ice water
Directions
- Mix flour and salt in a large bowl Cut in shortening and butter until mixture is very coarse
- Sprinkle water one tablespoon at a time over flour tossing with fork until mixture cleans sides of bowl
- Make a ball
- Wrap airtight and refrigerate at least 30 minutes Roll out on floured board
- Place in 9-inch pan Refrigerate until ready to use
