PatsyS Foreign Mission Curried Chicken
Ingredients
- 2 lb chicken cubed
- 1 c chopped onion
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 c beef bouillon
- 2 Tbsp curry powder
- 1 12 c carrots cubed
- 14 tsp ginger
- 1 c celery coarsely cut
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 c sliced mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 14 c cold water
- rice
Directions
- Salt the chicken and brown in hot oil for 5 minutes stirring constantly
- Add the carrots celery mushrooms onion bouillon curry powder and ginger cover and simmer for 20 minutes
- Make a smooth paste of the cornstarch soy sauce and 14 cup cold water Add to the vegetable mixture stirring and simmering until it thickens
- Serve with rice
- Serves 4
