Pea Soup

Ingredients
- One ham bone
- 1 lb split peas
- 3 qts water
- 1 medium onion diced
- 2 carrots sliced
- 1 potato diced
- 2 stalks celery chopped
- 1 bay leaf or 12 tsp marjoram
- salt pepper to taste
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a large soup kettle bring to a boil Lower heat and simmer for about 3 hours
