Peach Butter

Ingredients

• 8 c sliced peaches
• 4 c sugar
• 14 tsp salt
• 12 tsp allspice
• 1 12 tsp cinnamon

Directions

1. Mix peaches sugar and salt
2. Stir until well blended
3. Let stand
4. Put in a large heavy pan
5. Boil rapidly stirring constantly to prevent scorching
6. As mixture becomes thick reduce heat to reduce splattering
7. Add spices and continue to cook until butter is thick to flake off spoon or approximately 30 to 35 minutes
