Peach Butter

Ingredients
- 8 c sliced peaches
- 4 c sugar
- 14 tsp salt
- 12 tsp allspice
- 1 12 tsp cinnamon
Directions
- Mix peaches sugar and salt
- Stir until well blended
- Let stand
- Put in a large heavy pan
- Boil rapidly stirring constantly to prevent scorching
- As mixture becomes thick reduce heat to reduce splattering
- Add spices and continue to cook until butter is thick to flake off spoon or approximately 30 to 35 minutes
