Peach Schnapps Ice Cream

Ingredients

• 1 qt half and half
• 1 14 c sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 4 eggs lightly beaten
• 2 c whipping cream
• 3 lb fresh peaches peeled and sliced
• 12 c cognac
• 23 c peach Schnapps

Directions

1. Scald half and half Stir in sugar until dissolved Add vanilla and eggs Cook in top of double boiler stirring constantly until mixture coats a spoon
2. Chill
3. Stir in whipping cream and place in ice cream freezer
