Peanut Blossoms

Ingredients

• 1 c shortening
• 1 c sugar
• 1 c brown sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1 tsp soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 12 tsp vanilla
• 1 c peanut butter
• 3 c flour
• chocolate stars

Directions

1. Cream together first seven ingredients
2. Add the peanut butter and mix well
3. Add the flour and mix well
4. Form dough into balls walnut size and bake on greased cookie sheet at 375 for 8 minutes or until golden brown
