Peanut Blossoms Cookies
Ingredients
- 12 c shortening
- 34 c creamy peanut butter
- 12 c granulated sugar
- 13 c packed light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 12 c all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 34 c 10 oz pkg Hersheys mini kisses
- additional granulated sugar
Directions
- Heat oven to 375
- Beat shortening and peanut butter until well blended
- Add 1 12 cups sugar and brown sugar beat until fluffy
- Add egg milk and vanilla beat well
- Combine flour baking soda and salt gradually add to peanut mixture beating until well blended
- Shape dough into 1-inch balls
- Roll in granulated sugar
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned
- Place 3 mini kisses on each cookie pressing down lightly
- Makes about 4 dozen cookies
