Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

• 34 c butter flavor Crisco
• 1 c peanut butter
• 1 12 c brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 3 c oats
• 1 12 c all-purpose flour
• 12 tsp baking soda

Directions

1. Beat first 3 ingredients until creamy
2. Beat in water egg and vanilla
3. Add combined dry ingredients
4. Mix well
5. Cover chill about 2 hours
6. Heat oven to 350
7. Shape into 1-inch balls
8. Place on ungreased cookie sheet flatten with tines of fork dipped in granulated sugar to form crisscross pattern
9. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are golden brown
10. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet Remove to wire rack
11. Cool completely
