Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients
- 34 c butter flavor Crisco
- 1 c peanut butter
- 1 12 c brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 c oats
- 1 12 c all-purpose flour
- 12 tsp baking soda
Directions
- Beat first 3 ingredients until creamy
- Beat in water egg and vanilla
- Add combined dry ingredients
- Mix well
- Cover chill about 2 hours
- Heat oven to 350
- Shape into 1-inch balls
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet flatten with tines of fork dipped in granulated sugar to form crisscross pattern
- Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are golden brown
- Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet Remove to wire rack
- Cool completely
