Peanut Butter Party Cones

Ingredients

  • 1 about 185 oz pkg yellow cake
  • 1 12 c Reeses peanut butter chips
  • 12 c milk
  • 24 waffle type ice cream cones with flat bottoms
  • 2 16 oz containers any flavor ready-to-spread frosting
  • chocolate or colored candy sprinkles

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350
  2. Prepare cake batter according to package directions set aside
  3. In saucepan over low heat melt peanut butter chips with milk stirring constantly until blended
  4. Add peanut butter mixture while warm to cake batter
  5. Beat on medium speed of electric mixer until blended about 2 minutes
  6. Fill ice cream cone cup 23 to 34 full with batter
  7. Place upright in regular muffin cups or 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet
  8. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted comes out clean
  9. Cool completely
  10. Frost as desired
  11. Decorate with chocolate or colored sprinkles
  12. Makes 24 cones
