Peanut Butter Sheet Cake
Ingredients
- 2 c plain flour
- 12 Tbsp salt
- 1 c water
- 2 eggs well beaten
- 12 c buttermilk
- 2 c sugar
- 2 sticks margarine
- 34 c peanut butter
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions
- Sift flour and measure and sift again with sugar and salt Put water margarine and peanut butter in saucepan and bring to a boil
- Pour over flour mixture
- Mix well
- Combine eggs soda buttermilk and vanilla mix well
- Add to peanut butter mixture and blend well
- Pour into large sheet cake pan and bake 20 minutes at 350
- Start making icing 5 minutes before cake is done
- Punch holes in cake with fork as soon as it comes out of oven
- Frost while hot with Peanut Butter Frosting
