Peanut Butter Tandy Candy

Ingredients

  • 1 c milk
  • 2 Tbsp oleo
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 c sugar
  • 2 c flour
  • 8 oz Hershey bar

Directions

  1. Scald milk and oleo
  2. Set aside
  3. Mix baking powder salt sugar and flour
  4. Add eggs and vanilla
  5. Beat together and put in a 15 x 10-inch pan
  6. Bake at 350 for 25 to 35 minutes
  7. Take out of oven and spread peanut butter on top
  8. While cake is hot refrigerate for 1 hour
  9. Melt Hershey bar and spread on top
  10. Let chocolate harden and cut in squares
