Peanut Patties

Ingredients

• 3 c sugar
• 1 c water
• 1 c white corn syrup
• 1 lb raw peanuts shelled
• 14 tsp red food coloring
• 12 stick margarine
• pinch of salt

Directions

1. Bring sugar water and syrup to a boil
2. Add peanuts and food coloring
3. Cook until hard ball stage
4. Remove from heat add butter and salt
5. Beat until mixture turns cloudy
6. Spoon out on waxed paper
