Peanut Patties
Ingredients
- 2 12 c sugar
- 23 c white corn syrup
- 12 pt whipping cream
- 2 c or more raw peanuts
- red cake coloring
Directions
- Combine ingredients in large saucepan
- Stir until sugar is dissolved
- Bring to boil
- Cook over medium heat to firm ball stage
- Remove from heat and add 2 tablespoons butter or margarine and 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Cool slightly and then beat until thickens
- Drop on wax paper
