Pear Bread

Ingredients
- 12 c margarine
- 1 c sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 c flour
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 18 tsp nutmeg
- 14 c yogurt plain or buttermilk
- 1 c pears peeled and cut up thin
Directions
- Cream margarine gradually beat in sugar
- Beat in eggs one at a time
- Combine all dry ingredients
- Add to egg mixture alternating with yogurt
- Stir in pears and vanilla
- Pour into buttered dish or loaf pan 9 x 5 x 3-inches
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour
