Pear Bread

Ingredients
- 12 c butter or margarine
- 1 c granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 c flour
- 18 tsp salt
- 12 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 14 tsp nutmeg
- 14 c yogurt or buttermilk
- 1 c coarsely chopped pears
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions
- Cream butter gradually beat in granulated sugar
- Beat in eggs one at a time
- Combine dry ingredients add to egg mixture alternately with yogurt
- Stir in pears and vanilla
- Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour
