Pear Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 c sugar
  • 3 c flour
  • 1 12 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 tsp cloves
  • 12 tsp cinnamon
  • 12 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 14 c cooking oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • 3 c fresh pears grated or chopped fine

Directions

  1. Sift all dry ingredients together
  2. Add oil eggs and vanilla Mix well and add pears
  3. Bake in greased and floured Bundt pan at 350 for 1 hour and 15 minutes
  4. No icing needed for this moist cake
  5. Great way to use up pears during pear season
