Pear Preserves

Ingredients

• 3 qt cut-up pears
• 7 c sugar
• 1 c white Karo
• 1 c water

Directions

1. Cook sugar Karo and water to a rolling boil
2. Drop pears into mixture
3. Cook over medium heat until thick
4. Makes 4 pints
