Pear Preserves Cake

Ingredients
- 1 c butter softened
- 2 c sugar
- 5 eggs separated
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 c buttermilk
- 3 c all-purpose flour divided
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground allspice
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 c chopped pecans
- 1 c pear preserves
Directions
- Cream butter in a large mixing bowl
- Gradually add sugar beating until light and fluffy
- Add egg yolks and beat well
